Luke 5:5 (ESV)
And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word, I will let down the nets.”

I pray this would be our response to whatever the Lord asks of us. Peter yielded to the Lord despite fishing all night and catching nothing. He trusted the words spoken by Jesus, rather than his flesh, emotions and past experiences. From his obedience, Peter and the other fishermen caught plenty of fish. Afterwards, Jesus called him to become one of his disciples, a fisher of men (Luke 5:10b).

At Your word, I will… is left as an incomplete sentence on purpose, because you are the only one that can fill in the missing blanks. In this season, what is the Lord instructing you to do? Will you be willing and obedient?
